Google Ads FAQ

Q: How does Google Ads company identification work?

When someone clicks your Google Ad and lands on your website, Leadfeeder's tracking script identifies the company behind the visit using IP-based company identification technology. The company is then enriched with firmographic data like industry, employee count, and country.

Q: How long until I see data?

After connecting your Google Ads account and installing the tracking script, data typically starts appearing within 24 hours. The lookback windows (7, 30, 60, 90 days) become available as more data accumulates over time.

Q: Do I need a CRM connected?

Yes. Google Ads features require a CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, or Attio) to be connected. The CRM provides the deal data that Fibbler uses to calculate pipeline and revenue attribution.

Q: Which CRMs are supported?

Google Ads attribution works with HubSpot, Salesforce, and Attio. CRM Sync (writing data back to your CRM) is currently available for HubSpot and Salesforce.

Q: How does cross-channel attribution with LinkedIn work?

When both LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads are connected, Cross-Channel Insights shows how your channels work together to influence deals. You can see a Venn diagram of channel overlap, compare deal performance across channel mixes, and understand which channel tends to introduce companies vs. capture demand.

Q: What happens when my trial ends?

After your 14-day free trial, you'll need to upgrade ($59/month) to continue using Google Ads features. Your data is kept for 7 days after the trial ends, giving you time to upgrade before it's removed. See Pricing & Trial for details.

Q: Can I use Google Ads without LinkedIn Ads?

Google Ads is an add-on to your Fibbler subscription, which requires a LinkedIn Ads connection. You need an active Fibbler account with LinkedIn Ads connected to use the Google Ads features.

Q: How are companies matched to CRM deals?

Fibbler matches companies using domain normalization. The company domain identified from a Google Ads visit is compared against company domains in your CRM. If a match is found and the visit occurred before the deal was created, the deal is marked as "influenced."

Q: What's included in the 1,000 company limit?

The Google Ads add-on includes identification of up to 1,000 unique companies per month. This is the number of distinct companies that visit your website from Google Ads campaigns. A single company visiting multiple times counts as one identified company.

Q: What happens if I connect multiple Google Ads accounts with different currencies?

Fibbler automatically converts all numbers into the currency set in your CRM so you get a unified picture across all accounts. No manual conversion needed.
